Three persons have been arrested in connection with the murder of the Mankralo of the Prampram Traditional Area, Nene Atsure Benta III.
The District Cheif Executive of Ningo-Prampram, Mr Jonathan Paa Nii Doku who doubles as the Chairman of the District Security Committee, (DISEC) who disclosed this on Friday, however, did not disclose the identities of the suspects.
Residents of Prampram in the Greater Accra Region are yet to come to terms with the death of Nene Atsure Benta III.
The deceased was gunned down at Appolonia while returning from Dodowa on Thursday night over alleged chieftaincy issues.
Mr Doku said an emergency DISEC meeting has been called to discuss the issue and related security concerns in the area.

He warned that whoever was involved would not be spared by the law.
The DCE conceded that there have been some chieftaincy issues in the area but said DISEC has been working with the traditional authorities to find a lasting solution to the problem.
The DCE said DISEC was not aware of the movement of the late chief saying, following his (deceased) recent purported destoolment, the chief could have alerted the security agencies for security protection.
