Audio: Man arrested for butchering pregnant wife

A 35-year-old-man identified as David Nadum has beenarrested by the Hiamankyine police command for butchering his 7 month pregnant wife in the Tain District in the Brong Ahafo Region.

Information gathered by Adom News revealed the suspect inflicted cutlass wounds on his wifeand tried to also kill himself after committing the crime.

“Looking at the lifeless body of his wife on thefloor, he also took a poisonous medication to the bush to kill himself. Thebutchered wife was also found by a Good Samaritan who sent her to the Nsokor government hospital where she is receiving treatment.”

The husband was also found by a search party in the bush almost dead and was sent to the hospital.

However, the case was reported to the Tain Police who stated the case was beyond them and forwarded it to the Wenchi Police but the reason for the man butchering his wife is still not known.
