Mahama Now Finds 31st December Anniversary Celebrations Useful?

John Mahama’s chameleonic antics have been exposed following a post he has made on Facebook extolling the virtues which, according to him, resulted from the 31st December uprising.

What comes as befuddlement is the fact that as president, Mr Mahama didn’t see the need to celebrate 31st December since he no longer found it useful.

One other reason which acted as the catalyst of preventing the former president from participating in the events was the strained relationship that brewed between him and the Rawlingses.

His appointees, for the same reasons, also never saw it needful to attend 31st December functions of the party.

As for Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, she was treated like an outcast in the NDC. Her 31st December Women’s Movement became a taboo for Mahama and his charges, leading to key members of the movement marooning Nana Konadu.

The Rawlingses, under Mahama, were treated like a pestilence which would burn the bodies and souls of the party members if they got closer to them.

The utility bills of former President Jerry John Rawlings were never paid by Mahama, the Akufo-Addo administration took care of them upon the assumption of office.

Mahama in government, saw it inexpedient to celebrate 31st December anniversary because of the Rawlingses, but strangely enough, he finds it fitting to worship Raelings’ legacy all because he needs him to support his bid to lead the party into the next elections.

John Mahama is using deception to ride into the hearts of the Rawlingses. The Rawlingses were his arch enemies when he was president, but he wants them to throw away the ill-treatment he meted out to them.

It would appear that former President Jerry John Rawlings cannot be swayed by these sugar-coated statements and expressions of the man who showed him ingratitude.
