Two pastors installed at Amasaman S.D.A for 2019 inducted

Two Pastors, Isaac Akwafo Ames and Martin Owusu Bonsu have been successfully installed by the Accra City Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church for the Amasaman District.
This follows the zoning of part of the Amasaman district into the Medie Zone. Pr. Isaac Akwafo Amess who was transferred to the district as its head pastor in November last year will serve substantively as the district pastor whiles Pr. Martin Owusu Bonsu oversees activities to prepare the Medie Zone to become a full fledged district.
At a district  Corporate Worship held at the Central Church at Amasaman, the officiating minister, Executive Secretary of the Accra City Conference, Pr. Dr. Nathan Teye Odonkor, assisted by the Director of Trust Services and Adventist Muslim Relations of the Southern Ghana Union Conference of the church, Pr.  Zachariah Asuboni led the two pastors and the congregation through the litany of service and words.
He charged the pastors to be sympathetic and magnanimous shepherds whiles admonishing the church members to give their fullest of corporation to the work of the ministers.
Pastor Zachariah Asuboni who delivered the sermon ahead of the installation service urged all to prepare to meet their God.
He passionately enjoined the congregation to use the upcoming ten days of prayer and fasting scheduled to take place from the 9th to the 19th of January, 2019, to seek for the renewed baptism of the Holy Spirit in the new year. Pr. Asuboni also inducted into office newly elected Elders, leaders as well as departmental officers who will be serving in the churches this year.
The district was able to raise some GHS 12,000  in an appeal for funds to acquire   lands  and decent places of worship. The corporate worship was attended by at least 850 members of the various churches within the district.
