V/R: Two relations butchered to death at Dziehe
Two persons have been butchered to death at Dziehe, a farming community near Akatsi in the capital of Akatsi South District of the Volta Region by unknown assailants, MyNewsGh.com can report
78-year-old Kofi Dela Sedor and his sister, Ami Sedor, 73 were found dead in their two bedroom house and the bodies lying some meters away from each other.
According to a police account, the body of Ami Sedor was found lying five meters away from the brother in the compound with multiple cutlass wounds on the head supposedly caused by their attacker
The house it is gathered is located at the edge of Dziehe village and residents of nearby houses claimed they never heard of any unusual noise from the victim’s house.
The two were said to be the only persons occupying the house and the family claimed they were not aware of any rift between deceased and any other person in the community could have led to their gruesome murder.
Bodies of the deceased persons have been deposited at St. Paul’s hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy while police indicate that they have intensified efforts to apprehend the perpetrators behind the dastardly act.
