14-year-old boy allegedly kills sister in Ashanti Region

Tragedy struck the Mamponteng community in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti Region last Sunday when a 14-year old boy shot and killed his eight-year-old sister.

The incident has been described as an accident, which involved their grandfather’s single barrel gun

The whole community was thrown in a state of mourning following the death of the little girl, Princess Owusu Ansah who was earlier playing with the brother.

The ‘suspect’ who was playing with the sister at the time of the incident was said to have gone for the gun from the grandfather’s room whilst he was away.
